Ory Zik, Founder & CEO

Dr. Ory Zik CEO EnergyPointsPrior to founding Zik Energy Points Inc., Dr. Zik was the founding CEO of HelioFocus where he currently serves on the board of directors. The company develops solar thermal augmentation for conventional power plants and is now growing internationally. Prior to HelioFocus he was the founding CEO of QuantomiX Inc., a microscopy company based on his invention, which he led from inception in 2001 to commercialization. QuantomiX was the first to visualize cells and tissues in their native wet state with an electron microscope. In 1992, he spent a year as the curator of Israel’s National Museum of Science and in 1993, while a Ph.D. student, he founded Greenpeace Israel.

Dr. Zik Holds B.Sc. (cum laude) in Physics and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University as well as M.Sc. (cum laude) and Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he received the Feinberg physics award and the national Amos De Shalit physics prize. He holds worldwide patents and has extensive experience in founding startups based on university innovations (Weizmann Institute, Stanford, Harvard, Boston University, Purdue). Currently, Dr. Zik is an MIT research affiliate. He is also active in education, coaching first-time entrepreneurs, and environmental protection.

Roy Stein, Co-Founder & COO

Roy Stein COO EnergyPointsPrior to co-founding Zik Energy Points Inc., Mr. Stein was VP Operations of GridPoint Inc. (Smartgrid & Energy management systems), VP Corporate Development of Comverse Technologies Inc. (Telecom), VP Operations of Comverse Billing systems Ltd (formally Kenan Billing).

Mr. Stein is an accomplished operator and manager with over 20 years of experience in leading, building, and operating business units and companies. He has solid global management experience in Operations, Business Operations, and Corporate Development within telecommunications and clean energy industries and has hands on extensive experience in leading acquisition and integration of companies, ranging from small startups to global large companies.

Mr. Stein is an experienced operations manager with a proven track record in growing business units 2-4 times revenue while working on or below budgets, driving sales growth through compensation plan building, sales targeting and behavior setting, forecasting, and pipeline management (Business Operations). He is an open communicator and team builder, has strong analytical ability, is process oriented, has demonstrated a track record in building businesses, and turning a problem or company around.

Robert Frasca, CMO

Rob Frasca, CMO EnergyPointsPrior to Zik Energy Points Inc., Mr. Frasca was Chief Product Officer of Vivox Inc. (a Voice over IP Company).  Mr. Frasca is an online pioneer, experienced entrepreneur & proven product leader that has successfully developed and launched over 50-market leading products. He has built 3 venture backed start-ups with successful exits. He sold his first Company, Galt Technologies to Intuit in 1995, pre-Yahoo and sold his second company WiseWire to Lycos, the number 2 portal at that time, where he later became VP and GM for all of Lycos.com reporting directly to the CEO. His third Company, Affinnova Inc., where he was CEO, is a market leader within its space and enjoys significant year over year growth.

Mr. Frasca is a metrics driven senior exec with successful 20-year track record of exceptional leadership, product vision, management and marketing. He is an extremely creative, passionate manager that is seasoned in bringing products to market for rapid adoption with demonstrated success establishing strategy and vision.

Bill Rebozo, VP Product

Bill Rebozo, VP Product EnergyPointsMr. Bill Rebozo combines extensive technical experience in software development with a long history of business acumen to make new technologies relevant and profitable across a wide range of industries. Mr. Rebozo founded several startup companies before joining Microsoft in central product development roles across: consumer portals, office productivity, and software development tools. In these positions he worked within massive worldwide partner networks, defined and managed feature sets for one of the most trafficked websites in the world, and worked directly with Fortune 500 companies to effectively position the business value of technology.

With a passion for startup companies, Mr. Rebozo left Microsoft to lead product and business development for a disruptive communication technology at Twisted Pair Solutions called WAVE. In this position, Mr. Rebozo defined market/product requirements while simultaneously orchestrating complex partner models with multi-billion corporations and government agencies. Mr. Rebozo later joined GridPoint, where he directed product development to deliver SaaS based energy efficiency and metering solutions working closely with Sales and Marketing to define, position and sell the solution to fortune 500 corporations and federal organizations.

Mr. Rebozo has over twenty years of experience introducing new technologies successfully to the market with extensive experience in sales and marketing across diverse customer segments. Mr. Rebozo holds an MBA from the University of Washington.

Stuart Sheppard, VP Sales

Stuart Sheppard, VP Sales EnergyPointsStuart Sheppard is nationally recognized in sales, marketing, business development, and investor relations, with a successful track record of building start-ups as well as revenue-generating infrastructures for established companies.

Formally, as the Managing Director of Netage Solutions – the leading CRM provider for the alternative assets industry – Mr. Sheppard was the senior officer under the CEO, responsible for running sales, marketing, business development, and grew revenues over 900%. Previously, he was the VP of Sales for WiredEmpire, an e-commerce database marketing company.

At Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters), Mr. Sheppard was the top producer globally, selling sophisticated accounting, trading, and performance software to many of the largest investment management firms in the world. Prior to that, he was the Director of Institutional Marketing for Putman Investments, Marketing Director for MetLife Pensions and, as the Director of the Investor Relations Practice at Ketchum Communications, advised corporations on building shareholder value, IPOs, crisis management, mergers, and acquisitions.
